Here’s 20 photos of a quick CityCat ride from the suburb of Toowong, along the Brisbane River to the City - I took them with my new camera, and tried out a little bit of special effects work.
If you click here you can see the route of the CityCat, from the Regatta Hotel stop to the Queensland University of Technology - Gardens Point stop.
Incidentally, the Regatta Hotel is famous for being the place where Australian academic Merle Thornton chained herself to the front bar in protest against the law that said women couldn’t drink in the front bar. Thornton later went on to write for the cult Australian TV show Prisoner (the one set in a women’s prison, not the weird SF one filmed in a Welsh village).
