So you like cult cinema? You ought to find out more about the Globe Theatre, then. It’s at 220 Brunswick St in the Valley - click here to see the exact location. As you can see from the photo, it’s 3 doors down from the Valley Metro mall - the one that has the train station in it.
And tonight, they’re playing Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill 1 and 2. Oh yeah.
Click here for the Globe Cinema’s program up until June this year.
Some of the highlights are:
Oh, and you can get a beer there. I’m not talking about a paper cup of beer either, but in a glass bottle.
What’s your favourite cult movie? Leave a comment and let me know.

Wes Says:I was just going back through some of your posts, and The Rocky Horror show coming up looks like it could be cool! I used to go and see the Blue’s Brothers when that was done with a stage show, and it was fantastic!

David Says:I’ll be at a friend’s party this Friday so I can’t go to Rocky Horror :(
But they do it once or twice a year, so it should be back.
I’d love to see The Blues Brothers with a floorshow, but as far as I know the only print of TBB in Australia is riddled with scratches - sometimes the audio is a full second out compared to the video track. I’ve seen exactly the same problems at two different cinemas, which is why I think there is only one print in the country.
Hope they get it fixed up, it’s about the funniest movie I’ve ever seen :D
