Brisbane Skies: Blimps Today, Balloons Yesterday

After grabbing some shots of the RE/MAX hot air-balloon above Brisbane yesterday, I just now saw the Holden Blimp in the sky.
This is a pretty controversial blimp. The Queensland Government has passed special laws to stop ‘ambush marketing’ - that is, they don’t want the blimp flying over major events that Holden does not sponsor.
For me: Here’s to the spirit of competition!

I spent about 10 minutes, during a bus ride this afternoon, trying to take a photo of the blimppelin floating over Brisbane. But it was on the left side, and the bus was moving too fast, and there were always buildings in the way, dammit.
